Why Give to JCSTS?

People of faith have to be taught how to carry out God's mission. Plain and simple. That's what seminaries do. And that's what JCSTS does. By giving to JCSTS, you share in the ministry of equipping people with knowledge and tools to carry out God's mission in today's complex, divisive world. As we see it, this is essential work. We are proud and deeply grateful to have you share in it with us.

Your gift of any amount is appreciated and valued.

JCSTS is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. All contributions are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Our tax ID# is 58-1099675.

The purpose of The Drum Major for Justice Certificate in Public Theology is to equip pastors, lay people, activists, and others to find their voice in collaboration and organized action with others.

The 5-month certificate program explores the common roots of racial oppression and resistance movements (e.g., the Black Church, Black and Womanist Theology, Liberation Theology, Indigenous Peoples’ Theology), in order to mobilize churches and communities to pursue racial justice and societal transformation.
