Faith, Equity, and Environmental Justice

About

This program examines the intersection of environmental issues and social equity, specifically through the lens of faith-based activism. It addresses how marginalized communities are often disproportionately impacted by pollution, climate change, and resource depletion. Participants will explore the historical roots of environmental racism, the role of Black Liberation Theology in ecological stewardship, and practical strategies for community-led advocacy. The course provides a structured framework for integrating environmental concerns into existing social justice practices within theological and community settings.
