Hebrew Prophets: Voices of Social Justice

About

This course explores the historical and theological significance of the Hebrew Prophets, focusing on their call for social justice and moral accountability. You will examine the lives and messages of figures such as Amos, Isaiah, and Micah to understand how their ancient critiques of systemic oppression and corruption remain relevant today. The curriculum covers the literary structure of prophetic books and the historical contexts of the pre-exilic, exilic, and post-exilic periods. By examining these sacred texts, you will gain tools for applying prophetic principles to contemporary challenges of equity and human rights.
