World Religions

About

This course examines the major religious traditions of the world through a lens of ethics, social justice, and community building. Participants explore the core tenets, historical contexts, and modern expressions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The curriculum focuses on how these traditions interact with concepts of equity and moral courage. This program provides tools to bridge cultural divides and support justice efforts within diverse spiritual landscapes. The material specifically highlights the historical resistance and contributions of faith communities in the pursuit of social change.
