Community Interpretation: Reading and Working the Room

About

This program provides community organizers, pastors, and leaders with the skills to analyze social environments and group dynamics. Leaders will learn to identify hidden power structures, interpret non-verbal communication, and navigate different cultural contexts within their community. The curriculum covers the physical analysis of space, strategies for building quick rapport, and methods for mapping community assets. By establishing a clear framework for reading a room, participants will be better prepared to guide group activities and manage community interactions toward productive outcomes.
