This course explores the multifaceted definitions of spirituality within theological and social justice frameworks. It examines the historical evolution of the term, particularly its significance within the Black Church and Black Liberation Theology. Participants will analyze how spiritual practices inform individual moral courage and systemic activism. By investigating various rituals, theological perspectives, and contemporary applications, the program clarifies how spirituality functions as a tool for both personal reflection and community-led change in the pursuit of justice and equity.
