Worship Planning in the Reformed Tradition

About

This program provides a practical foundation for designing worship services within the Reformed tradition, specifically focusing on the Presbyterian (U.S.A.) context. You will study the theological pillars of the 'Ordo'—the movement from gathering to sending—while learning how to integrate themes of social justice, diversity, and equity into the liturgy. The course covers the use of the Revised Common Lectionary, hymn selection, and the preparation of the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. By the end, you will be able to construct weekly services that are both biblically grounded and responsive to the needs of a contemporary, justice-seeking community.
