About
This course examines the foundations of biblical justice by focusing on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. It explores how ancient scriptural mandates for equity and compassion were lived out through Christ’s interactions with marginalized communities. Participants will analyze key parables, the Sermon on the Mount, and the historical context of the Roman occupation to understand the social ethics of the Second Temple period. Drawing on the traditions of the Black Church and liberation theology, the curriculum connects historical biblical texts to contemporary community leadership and faith-based activism.
