About
This introductory course provides a clear framework for understanding and practicing moral courage within the context of social justice and faith-based activism. It examines the psychological and ethical factors that allow individuals to act on their values despite social pressure, fear, or professional risk. Participants will explore the historical roots of conviction within the Black Church tradition and Black Liberation Theology, learning to distinguish between physical bravery and the steadfastness required to confront systemic injustice. The curriculum focuses on practical strategies for moving from silent belief to active, ethical service in local and global communities.
