Faith and Reason: Philosophy of Religion

About

This course provides a rigorous examination of the fundamental questions surrounding religious belief, analyzed through the lenses of classical philosophy and modern social justice. Participants will investigate traditional arguments for the divine, the epistemological foundations of faith, and the complex problem of evil. Special attention is given to how theological frameworks intersect with the history of resistance and the pursuit of equity within the Black faith tradition. The curriculum focuses on grounded, logical analysis to help students understand the role of religion in shaping moral courage and community ethics.
